Our Client

Our client is an established organization operating within the consumer goods sector and is seeking to appoint a Trade Marketing Manager to strengthen its commercial capabilities. The company is focused on enhancing market presence, supporting sales growth, and building stronger partnerships with distributors and retail customers across its operating markets.

The Role

The Trade Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of trade marketing initiatives that support commercial objectives, improve in-store visibility, and drive product performance across multiple sales channels. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, the successful candidate will ensure effective execution of promotional activities while maximizing return on investment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual trade marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Plan and execute promotional campaigns across retail channels.
  • Support product launches through effective in-market activation.
  • Analyze sales performance and recommend commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to improve market execution.
  • Manage point-of-sale materials and merchandising activities.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors and retail partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets and campaign effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and commercial insights.
  • Support category management and customer-specific initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods.
  • Strong understanding of Modern Trade and General Trade environments.
  • Experience managing distributors and retail activation programs.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills.
  • Excellent project management and communication abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is considered an advantage.
