The Role

The Finance Assistant will provide administrative and operational support across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing supplier invoices and payments.
  • Prepare customer invoices and maintain payment records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain financial records and filing systems.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Process expense claims and petty cash transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Support audit preparation activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience within a finance or accounting environment.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluency in English is required.
